Founded in Baltimore, The Outsider Poet Press is a small publishing company on a big mission, to help social media–based indie authors break through traditional barriers and bring their stories to print.
Co-founded by TikTok poet Alaska Lane and managed by Nichole Feltner, the press quickly gained traction after Alaska’s first collection, the words i’ll never say. As their author lineup grew, they knew it was time to establish an online home that reflected their vision: bold, professional, and deeply creative.
The Project
Nichole came to us ready to transform their existing Squarespace site into a fully realized, editorial-style hub. They already had the domain and a starter template but needed professional setup, design direction, and help refining their content.
We began with a copywriting strategy session to align their tone and brand story. From there, we customized a Squarespace template to reflect their poetic, moody aesthetic — creating a site that balances literary sophistication with indie accessibility.
