Website in a Day is built on Squarespace. It's the platform I've worked in for over a decade, and it gives you the flexibility to make updates on your own without needing a developer.

You'll need a Squarespace subscription (plans start around $23/month) and a domain if you don't already have one (typically $12–20/year).

Yes. Because this is a single-day build, we need your brand foundation in place before we begin — logo, colors, and fonts. If you don't have those yet, the Mini Brand Refresh add-on ($500) covers the essentials and is completed during your build day.

Every booking includes The Website Copy Playbook — a guided framework with ChatGPT prompts that walks you through exactly what to write on every page and in every section. If you'd prefer to hand off the writing entirely, the copywriting add-on ($2,000) has Melissa write all 6 pages for you and converts the project to a two-day build.

As soon as you're ready — there's no hard lead time requirement. We recommend giving yourself about 2 weeks to work through your copy prep and gather everything before your build day. If you have a specific launch deadline, reach out early.
